Warning to you ladies, if you scrub the sidewall and think its only minor, have someone check it out anyway. Lucky thing my wife told me cause there was a major gouge. I called at 4:45 Friday PM and was told that its covered, to come down now since they close at 6 pm. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes at a cost of $20+ ( the original discount off). If Slim's held a HE MAN competition for changing tire, bruddah would have won!

Although the internet listed the Waipahu hours at 7:00am to 6:00pm, I guess the store didn't officially open until 8:00am? however, the worker who was opening up took my van in when I arrived at 7:15am-- I apologized for the confusion, but he gladly took me in. I should have suspected the store wasn't opened since no one else was there except for he and me. Please check on this.

The staff was friendly, professional, and fixed my tire quickly. I was extremely satisfied!!

I gave them 2 stars simply cause the customer service acted nice. I took my vehicle in for a small oil leak and after having them look at it, ended coming to about $1k. Which seemed crazy to me but I know very little about car repairs and need the work done, so I took the hit. Upon picking it my bill it had suddenly gone up $400. My wife luckily caught it and argued, finally they suddenly noticed that oh looks like the parts were double charged. Oh and they noticed another leak in a radiator hose, which was probably true, but wanted to charge me $300 for replacing it and then another $400+ for the radiator that often breaks when replacing the hose. I declined the additional services but the entire time felt like I was being cheated. After paying my wife got out to the car and noticed the check engine light was on. She went back in and questioned it and they looked at it at told us it was a code for a completely seperate area they didnt work on and the tech said it was on before we even came in. I drove the vehicle just before we took it in because my wife was nervous to drive it and I only drive a short distance to work. Then I was the one who drove it to the shop and never noticed a light. But they continued to argue with us that it had been on which is complete BS, then nicely told us we could bring it back if we had additional problems and to get that check out...... of course. Lucky they get 2 stars, but they did do the work and we will see how well after driving on it for a while. Just another mechanic taking advantage of others who don't know any better. Even though the seemed friendly and helpful, the issues proved their worth and you should never go to a place you feel like you are being cheated.

Had the tire done and done in great time. All the times I have come had great service.

About a month ago i got 4 new tires for my car. I leave and in a week my tire is flat, it was a slow leak caused by chrome chipping, they said they would do what they could and it still leaks. 2 weeks later i have noticed my 2 front tires now have a slow and steady leak and the only tire that has not had problem gets a nail in it, so i bring it back. they take the nail out and tell me now all my tires are going to leak from the chrome now from changing them, AWESOME! 4 new tires now I need to get air in them every week. WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS BEFORE I SPENT $500. When I went in for the screw in my tire I asked the guy at the counter if they could put in a headlight bulb for me (Im not a car guy and I had problems with it myself) I already had bought the bulb it just needed to be put in. He tells me it will be 54.00 and I said thats way to much to put a bulb in. The guy at the counter acted annoyed by me, when I said to him "would you play $54 to replace a headlight" he tells me "no cause I know how to replace a light bulb AND THATS YOUR PROBLEM" at this point I was thinking if I talked to a customer like this at my job I would in trouble or let go, I'm sorry but i was being polite the whole time until he felt the need to talk down to me. He went on with a few more comments that really rubbed me the wrong way. I know that i am asking them to do a service and it was too expensive in my opinion, you don't need to agree with but you don't need to get defensive. What should have been said is "sorry thats what the cost is", but thats not the way he chose to go. The one star review is more for the attitude I received from the clerk not cause of the tires, for all I know the chrome was already messed up, it leaked on one tire before I went in, now it leaks on all four, maybe there was nothing they could have done. I would not recommend this place due to the way I was talked to.

Made a yelp account just for this. Took my GS for an oil change yesterday. Told them I was not able to pick it up before they closed so they left the key somewhere on the car which was fine. While picking the car up I immediately noticed my front lip was messed up. I called them back the next day and spoke to a guy. He took my info and said he would call me back. When he called back he said that he didn't have a record of them working on my car and that I needed a receipt. WTF. The lady that helped me called me back and said my car already had those scratches. I know my car in and out and would of noticed the scratches before hand. As I pulled up the next day I noticed one of there cars parked right in the front on a yellow parking stone with the bumper pushed in (Really!) .She denied the damages to my car and said it was like that. My front is now damaged all for a Damn oil change. fcuk lex brodies
