Had problems with vibrations/ "shuddering" at higher speeds. Had to replace two tires. Done at a reasonable price and time.

On Friday September 4, 2015 I made another appointment this time with Tiana over the phone regarding my driver's side door handle that can't open from the inside, for Tuesday September 8, 2015 at 1pm. On the day of the appointment I arrived at 12:45pm checked my car in and waited for 1 hour and 30 minutes, after realizing that the wait was longer than usual and no communication from the employees I decided to take it upon myself to ask how much longer they might take, to just once again look at my car and provide me an estimate. The girl at the front desk went to inquire about my car when she returned and informed me that the mechanics had yet to even start on my vehicle. That is when she offered a rental vehicle to me with a $100 deposit down for they did not believe that they could get to my vehicle today at all, why did this happen not only once but twice with an appointment no less? They have poor communication skills with their customers for this is also the 2nd time they let me wait in the waiting area for well over an hour without telling me a damn thing! Once again with appointments made and kept on my end, Lex Brody's like to stress that they have such an illustrious legendary customer service reputation which I had not experienced at ALL during my two separate occasions there. If I could give negative stars I would, so if you like to wait around in cold waiting areas not knowing if your car is being worked on or not as well as being ignored then Lex Brody's is your one stop shop!

On a Monday. I had my van towed to the Waipahu location because it had died completely. After 2-3 days, diagnostics was run and I was told because it was completely dead, it was difficult to pin point the problem. I was told it was the starter and I gave the ok. Went to pick up my van and upon starting it in your parking lot, the car sputtered and I didn't feel confident driving it. Ended up leaving it for another day. A couple days later, at least 3 warning lights lit up. My friend had me bring it into another shop in Waipio. I shared the vehicle's recent history of work, the mechanic looked it over, resolved the problem and I haven't had any issues since. I do not feel confident recommending your shop. I give one star for the cashier's customer service.

Lex Brodie's did an awesome job on my beloved 1980 Toyota Tercel. And, their customer service was even better! From my first interaction with Mandie over the phone to picking my baby up after servicing, I knew I picked the right place. Tiahna made checking out stress free, and the mechanic (I wish I got his name) had me test out my new brakes before leaving the lot (and they work amazingly). Considering the age of my car and the many parts I had replaced/repaired/overhauled, the price in the end was well worth it. LB Waipahu has a new loyal customer!
