Didn’t diagnose my vehicle just told me they couldn’t fix it and charged 200 for the diagnostic
Aloha Mr. Wakefield, we found your invoice from 1/20/2025 #4274601 that we see that there was no charge ($0.00 charge). Our lead technician spent about 2 hours testing and diagnosing your vehicle and found the 6 trouble codes shown below as well as diagnosing a possible “engine failure”. In these cases, even though we paid our team member 2 hours to diagnose your vehicle, we didn’t charge since we were not able to repair your vehicle for you. Please see below for the note that were documented on your invoice that were the result of our team members time spend diagnosing your vehicle: “TECHNICIAN PULLED CODES FROM VEHICLE AND THESE CODES CAME UP: P0300 MULTIPLE ENGINE MISFIRE CODE P050D COLD START ROUGH IDLE P25A2 BRAKE SYSTEM CONTROL MODULE C0021 BRAKE SYSTEM PERFORMANCE B1325 CONTROL MODULE POWER CIRCUIT VOLTAGE BELOW THRESHOLD C0775 RIGHT FRONT TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR VOLTAGE BELOW THRESHOLD CONCERN IS THE MISFIRE AND CHECKED DATA AND DIAGNOSED. DATA READS MOST OF THE MISFIRING IS COMING FROM CYLINDER 3. CUSTOMER STATES THAT THEY REPLACED SPARK PLUG AND WIRE. TECHNICIAN STARTED VEHICLE AND NOTICE A LARGE KNOCKING SOUND COMING FROM ENGINE COMPARTMENT.
