I've been going to this Lex Brodie's @ Pearlridge since 2009 for regular service maintenance on my 2008 Nissan Pathfinder. Their customer service has always been great, thus my continuing to go to them for 3 years. I recently went there for a 60,000k maintenance and had unknowingly locked the car with my remote (key had been left with attendant) after removing some items from it, jumped into my husband's car and left for our next destination. I received a call from Freddie about 15 minutes later asking where I was since they could not get into my car - the key was in the ignition and the doors were locked. I felt so bad, we were on the freeway headed to Kaimuki. I was about to tell Freddie that I'll get the service done another time, but before I could, he said "no problem, I'll send someone out to meet you at your destination". Talk about relief! The driver who arrived 20 minutes later was friendly and courteous. Thank you Allen and Freddie and the girl (sorry, I didn't get your name) who settled my bill and told me about the AAA discount which saved me $50! Can't beat that for going out of your way to make the customer happy.... To add to this review, my Service Engine Soon Light came on yesterday and I called Freddie who said to bring it in and they'll check it since I had just been there on Saturday for the 60k service. (The dealer had said they would charge me $95 to see what caused the light to go on.) I took my car in today, expecting it to take about an hour, and Freddie said he could do it now. Within 10 minutes he handed me the paper showing what the code diagnosis was and told me to show that to the dealer when I took my car in to repair the windshield reservoir leak they discovered, which was covered under the extended warranty I had purchased. Thank you Freddie and the whole friendly staff at Lex Brodie's Pearlridge for the superb customer service you always provide. This is one VERY SATISFIED customer who will continue to return for regular service and am working on my husband so he will start bringing his truck there, too!!

I would recommend this LEX BRODIES location. There customer service is great. First time I went there to replace my flat tire a guy DEN was very informative and helpful. He also offered to give me a discount card for $10, which would help in the future because it gives you "Instant Benefits: 105 off Mechanical Services w/$50 maximum, $50 off 4 installed Tires or $12.50 off per installed Tire" Only thing, its not combinable with other offers, (which is COMMON SENSE though, if you are reading this) because you are already recieving a discounted price. Also this location has a great waiting area, with a TV, includes magazines to read, and a Coffee area (not that I drink, but for you others). While waiting, you can also go to pearlridge because they are directly across and the worker will give you a call. After my first experience, I have always been coming here even if I am in Kalihi, I just really like their service and attitude. I come here probably every 3-5 months to check my tires and brakes. Like such, for today 6/28/12 I came in to have them check on a squeaking/grinding noise on my front tires. I thought it was the brake pads, but it wasn't. Freddie the guy who looked at my car told me it was my rotor, caliper, and brake pads. Unfortunately, my brake pads was worn out (necessarily meaning gone!) on my left front tire. I asked if I could just get an estimate on the replacement and parts, and he kindly did it for me. However, the price was crazy HIGH!!! (not in a bad way). [[[This car is not mine, its actually my boyfriend's,but I just say mine here because it's easier to write]]]] He also answered all my questions, which was helpful for me. I had to confirm the HIGH price of $750 with my boyfriend because I didn't know if I should do it now or later. Unfortunately, he did say NO because of the price, but he would have said YES if LEX BRODIES could only change one side. Though, the case is LEX BRODIES only have parts in pairs (it's like purchasing shoes). Freddie told me if one side is only changed their might be a chance the brake might lock up (I don't if that's true, but it seems true). Since my boyfriend didn't like the price, he told me to just ask my uncle, who is a mechanic. Definitely it was cheaper with my uncle because he has a home business and can get parts at discounted price. At least I was glad Freddie was OK with this when I told him because he also said it's good my uncle can fix it. With the check-up that Lex Brodies did today on the car and in the past, I thank you guys!!!!

My 60$ oil change and safety check is costing me $400 cuz I need new tires no problem, however the guy ahead of me was offered a blue slip to extend his safety check 30 days, I WAS OFFERED NO SUCH THING!

I was at Al's Tinting next door and just though it was convenient to have some tire pressure monitoring sensors installed while I was there. I have worked in automotive for over 10 years and I know and maintain my car. I already had the parts (so I thought), that I needed, you know the sensors. Turns out that the gentlemen that helped me knew his stuff and as soon as I showed him the sensors he noted I also needed some additional items. He quoted me for labor & additional parts. The price was very reasonable. I also let him know one of my tires had a nail in it, so I needed a repair. When it was time to pay, i noticed I was not being charged for the tire repair. I'm an honest person and I believe in Karma, so I let him know about the discrepancy. I was surprised when he told me they checked the tire and there was no nail, because I saw the nail myself when washing the car. He told me it must have been a small one & it must have fell out without making any damage to my tire which had no air leaks. He saved me some $$. Some places are not so honest and could have easily ripped me off. So I must say I am very happy with their services and will be sure to use them for any future repairs that my vehicle may need.

I brought our work truck here the other day to have two tires replaced. Prior to bringing our truck in, I called to see if they had our required tire in stock, and they did; Costco did not have the tires we needed in stock and would have had to special order them. The phone representative at Lex Brodie's said that they were having a special, which offered free tire installation on the condition that you make an appointment. Therefore, I made an appointment for a few days later. Thanks for saving our company $$$

We recently noticed a vibrating feeling on the brakes of my moms car. Not knowing what to do I called the last company that she had taken her car to. I spoke with Barney, who is the manager at this location. He told me right away to bring in the car and they would check it out. When we for there it was extremely crowded and Barney still Was able to assist us and take it for a test drive to figure out what the problem was. When he had gotten back he mentioned it's the anti-lock brake system doing its job while driving on the hill. It's probably also because the car has not been driven in over a year! Anyhow, we decided to get a safety check along with an oil change. We are extremely pleased with the service that we received from the manager and will continue to visit this lex Brodie's location.

First of all this place has better customer service than most retailers out there. My husband I were quickly greeted almost before we were even thru the door. We explained our problem(s) with our squeaky brakes & needed 4 new tires. Right away "Freddie" went outside to check the brakes & found everything to be in good working order. BUT he did say that those brakes were probably the cheaply made pads. We have been to another shop (several times over to replace & repair them) & they just told us sometimes brakes do that!!! Stupid service!!!! When choosing our tires he gave us a full break down of options ranging from the cheapest to the higher quality ones & explained to us the difference for all. With that being said, we dropped off our keys & expected it to be done at the end of the day. Boy were we surprised that it took them only 2 hours to have everything fixed!! When we went to pick up our car, Freddie explained to us that we had a problem with the control arms & bushings (a problem we have had for years and no other place knew what it was or how to fix it). He said as soon as he heard the noise that it made he looked under the car & knew what it was right away!! He gave us a quote due to it being so expensive & said it was good FOREVER, whereas many other places have quotes that are only good for 30 or 60 days. Nonetheless this place was amazing & would recommend them to any & everyone.

This is my go-to place for tires. I have purchased all 4 tires from them. In addition to friendly service, they provide all sorts of extras that mean a lot to someone who knows next to nothing about car maintenance, such as free tire pressure checks and air refills if you just drive up to the service area. They even checked my spare. The other day when the error light on my dashboard indicated something was wrong with my tire, I drove straight to Lex's. They looked at my tire, found a screw and sent me on my way without charging me a penny. Hey, Lex. Thank you.....very much.

After the latest shenanigans at the Pearlridge Sears Auto Center, I called around for a set of new tires to enable my daughter's Honda Accord to pass the safety check. I was pleased to learn from Lex Brodie's Aiea store that they not only had a sufficient quantity of Falken tires in stock, but that all telephone appointments qualified for a discount of $23.00 per installed tire ($20.00 installation and $3.00 disposal fee per tire would be waived). GOOD DEAL! I got there in twenty minutes and was promptly greeted by the friendly staff. I also ordered the wheel alignment service. The salesman also noted that my safety check was due - I did not inform him that Sears had "failed" me earlier that day for the bad tires and allegedly leaking CV boots (see my review on Sears). In a little over an hour, the jobs were completed. The safety check was passed as the CV boots were found to be in good working order. The $92.00 of waived charges was rounded up to $100.00. I am very pleased with the professional and courteous service I received. With the new rubber on the road, I feel secure for all of us who get behind the wheel to travel on our crowded roadways.

I would recommend going here at all, and this is supposed to be Hawaii's best?? They couldn't even get my tire alignment and balance right after two times. After the second I steered clear of them, so they wouldn't mess my car up. Stay away, there are better places on Oahu for sure.
