***WONDERFUL SERVICE*** The Lex Brodie’s in Aiea has terrific customer service, and they were so helpful to my family and I. My car had 2 blown tires on a Saturday late afternoon, and I had a really hard time finding a place that had my tire size and could fit me into their schedule to replace my tires. Even though I was calling at the end of the day, Lex Brodie’s answered my call and arranged for me to leave my car overnight and had my car ready by the next day. Chelsea at Lex Brodie’s was exceptionally helpful. I wish I could remember the name of the other lady who helped, but I highly recommend them if you want QUALITY work and EXCEPTIONAL service. I rarely write reviews but truly felt this was needed since I often go to reviews myself when trying to find a good mechanic or shop. Five stars! Mahalo to the great team at Lex Brodie’s!

Great service from Freddy! Easy drop off and pick up. The woman at the desk went above and beyond at pick up, reversing my car out of the tight parking spot for me and double checking the air.

Made a a appointment took off from work to find out my appointment got canceled and there fully booked. So in other words making a appointment don't matter. Day wasted thank you for notting make me wait a half a day when I had a appointment lol last time you'll see me here

Event though this company has been around forever, this is the first time I have ever had any type of repair done by them. I noticed that my tire sensor light went on and no matter how many times I checked my tire pressure, including the spare, the light would not reset itself. I made the appointment and dropped it off at the time. This place is very busy so the parking lot and driveway to get in can be challenging, but the staff moving the cars were trying their best. When I walked into the wait area, I was immediately welcomed and assisted. It took a few minutes to get my information entered in for the job they needed to do and I was told it would be about 2 hours. They also quoted me a price based on 5 tire sensors to be replaced and reprogramed. Since I got this car used two years ago, I figured I should have this taken care of. This place has a large waiting area, but due to....what else....Covid, the chairs are spread out so there is not that many chairs to sit in. I already had it in mind to walk across to Pearlridge Center for lunch. They called me back in under two hours and I when I got back, I was charged a lower price than what I was quoted because they changed 4 sensors. Turns out my SUV spare doesn't have sensor. I was very happy because they could have charged me for it and I wouldn't have known as my knowledge of cars is not much more than filling gas, changing oil and putting air in the tires. I should be back to them when I need a new set of tires in a few months.

Just had a substandard experience with Lex Brodie @ Aiea. Basically, mediocre mechanics that relies on ‘swaptronics’ mentality to repair issues: brought in my Volvo in with clanking-suspension issues. They immediately provided detailed diagnosis and recommended items to be replaced ($2.6k w/ labor) but can’t guarantee if it fixes issue. Having been an experienced Volvo owner of 2 SUVs for 13 yrs, I ask them to take a second look on the strut mounts/motor mounts (pic below) which was not what they recommended to fix, as these are common problems with Volvos due to their weights. They still stuck with their initial diagnosis, at this time I pulled the vehicle to get a second opinion. Fast forward the next day, I returned to speak with office manager and showed him the pic. Still stuck to their initial diagnosis, which clearly is the wrong one. Their process is straightforward and established, however I ask to get something fixed and they basically said lets replace this but we can’t guarantee it fixes your problem. So beware, if you ask them to repair a leak, they may recommend to change the headlights. UPDATE: 4 Aug 21 @ 1550hrs - appreciate the response from Mr Scott W, a Lex Brodie Tm Mbr and the offer to take a second look of the vehicle. Fortunately, I will be taking the vehicle to the dealer to get it repaired.

Got their online quote for intake manifold replacement and after going in person to confirm it and get an appointment, it was not accurate. Also, desk person was cordial but forgot I was still there in the waiting area waiting to be quoted. I had to ask for an update. It took over an hour to get an actual quote in person. Quote total came as high as dealership. Total of 1.5 hours wasted. Edit: The original review showed 2 stars. I have added 2 more stars because Scott Williams with Lex Brodie's reached out and made a commitment to improve their online quoting process and to make sure staff is familiar with the online quoting system moving forward. I am confident future customers will see an improvement in this area.
