Aiea, HI ("Pearlridge")
Classic mechanic story here. I’ll start by saying that Jada who runs the desk in Pearlridge is awesome, the company is lucky to have someone as hard working as her. But overall I am confused. I went in for new tires and an alignment, my truck pulled to the right very slightly. Made an appointment and got the tires, but they couldn’t do the alignment and needed to look at it again. Made another appointment and they said it was one bad ball joint but couldn’t fix it that day. Made another appointment and after 8hrs they said the ball joint was actually fine and they aligned it the best they could, but the tie rod ends didn’t match so couldn’t totally align it. The mechanics said that one was a larger heavy duty tie rod end so that’s why one wheel was kicked out to the side and couldn’t be adjusted straight. Jada gave me a very generous discount to have a bunch of work done but I’ve decided not to do it with Lex Brodies. I’m no dummy with cars and I can clearly see that the tie rod ends are identical. So what is it really? I adjusted the alignment myself with a few cranks of a wrench and now the truck travels straight. Thank you for the tires though.
