I only waited 20 minutes for my safety check. The technician that checked me in told me I had to wait 1.5 to 2 hours
The tire replacement was performed in a very short time, and on a Sunday! I only had to pay for the tire disposal!
Always easy at Lex Brodie's Queen Street. Quick check-in with an appointment. Work done on time. Good communication.
Called to make appointment for safety check today. I asked how long it would take with or without appointment. The guy said 3 or 4 hours (depending on how busy) without appointment and 1 hour with appointment. If I brought the car in now they can finish by 12 noon. I checked my watch and it would be still over 1 hour so I decided to take the appointment at 2:00 PM to be on the safe side and have it done in one hour. Then he tells me it will take 1 or 1 and a half hours to finish. Although I didn't question the change in time from 1 hour to 1.5 hours with appointment, the guy was rude over the phone. So I called back and canceled the appointment right away. Although the lady who took the cancellation was very nice, what happened to "Thank You Very Much!" program that made Lex Brodies so famous? Auwe!
Lex Brodie always under promise and over deliver. They said it would be 3 hours for 4 new tires, balancing, brake inspection and safety inspection, but called me to come and pick up after just 2 1/2 hours. Gotta love the service.
Quick, efficient, and courteous
We made an appointment for a safety check and oil change. It appeared way too many other appointments were also made, a promise of no more than 4 hours took 6. Ridiculously too long. Employees were pleasant and apologetic but seems short handed and chaotic there right now.
They were swamped with customers but took the time to assist me with tire purchase & installation. One of the female managers helped & showed me the condition of the tires, recommended replacement etc . I’m not sure if her name was BRK. When I paid, the cashier mentioned that my brake linings were very good and I shouldn’t have to have a brake job soon given the amount of driving I do. This really put my mind at ease. Glad I made an appointment too as I got a discount for doing so. Thanks!
