Great customer service and honest technicians. I've had my 2 cars serviced here and received great service every time. Only draw back is that there can be a really long wait time if you bring in your car in w/o an appointment. There may be a bit of a wait even with one. Best to have appt and drop your car off, otherwise you can burn time at Koa Pancake House or at the Windward mall.

Excellent service! I got a flat tire and stopped by their shop just before it was going to close. I was able to get immediate, friendly service which was great! They took care of me right away. I was seriously impressed!

I had a slow leak on the rear-driver side tire after hitting a very large pot hole. Went to the dealer who sold me the tires and they asked if I had an appointment, which I had not. Went to Lex close by and they took me in right away (without an appointment). Thought Lex was going to tell me that I had to purchase another new tire because it was leaking from the seam. But they got it fixed with minor repair. They checked all 4 tires even though I told them which tire I suspected was the cause of low pressure indicator to light up. Worker also used a Torque wrench after using an air gun to tighten lug nuts to insure proper tightness. Workmanship was checked twice by a different worker and supervisor using a torque wrench. Finally a road test was done before handing me the keys all for $22.

Wife needed new tires for her 2006 scion Tc yesterday. Being that she never did these so called manly things I made her check all the tire companies and inquire about replacement of 4 tired. She checked several places like Sears, Costco, Goodyear ... The cheapest place she found was Lex Brodies. She was helped by a person named Zack who had great customer service over the phone. He gave her 2 quotes for Toyo tires and Bridge stone tires. He explained everything to her as far as the difference between the tires (speed rating etc). And he didn't pressure her to get the higher priced tire. In fact I convinced her to get the higher priced tires which were the bridge stones. Toyo - 680 Bridge stones - 780 That's with discount. And 90 dollars for alignment quoted. Costco 890 for michelins with no alignment. Thus she went down that same day and was helped by the same person named Zack. She stated that their customer service was great and he kept her in the loop by calling her while her car was being serviced. They were done in about 4 hrs with alignment. total price was about 860 which I thought was fairly cheap for bridge stones. Anyway point being made, if a woman that knows nothing about tires can go in and feel good about being edumacated on tires than I think lex brodies is doing something right with their customer service. Or it could be just Zack lol. Lex brodies has our support. Boooya!

My wife took her car in because it was lugging. They did a diagnostic and said it was the spark plugs. Changed all 6 spark plugs and charged her over $525. Due to the fact that she was from a neighbor island, (shipped her car to O`ahu while atttending summer school at UH Manoa) didn't know any mechanics and under some time constraints she went to a trustworthy name like Lex Brodie. RIPOFF!!! They said it'll take 3 hours to change the plugs. Maybe they should invest in a set of tools,,,like socket wrenches, wouldn't take that long. This is not a reflection on other Lex Brodies as they seem to operate independently. Live and learn...ouch!!! They will never see me or my vehicles again. Big Hawaiian ohana...I think I'll let my family and friends on O`ahu know they should go anywhere else but 701 Queen St. THANK YOU VERY &%$^ MUCH!!!!

Quick Story: Had a flat tire. Took it to Lex Brodie's on Queen Street. People were nice. The person who helped us noticed my safety check had expired; I'd been driving illegal for over a month! So they repaired the tire and gave me a safety check at the same time. Grateful for this. Big Deal: So I paid $15 for the safety check (pretty normal) and they didn't charge me for the tire repair! What? Wow! When was the last time you got service from a business for free? Why I'm Hooked: I don't know how to fix cars, so to me, mechanics are heroes. I was all stressed out and thinking about what I'd have to cancel or re-schedule because of that flat tire--but not only did Lex Brodie's fix the problem and save the day, they didn't ask for anything in return. You know how family takes care of you? That's how I feel.

If you don't have a costo card, this is the cheapest place on the island (if you have cash) to pump your gas. With the economy the way it is, this is a VERY important tid bit of information.
