I don't normally bother to review but I decided to start today because I was blown away by this place. I had a dent in one of my rims from going over a pothole that was causing the air to leak from my tires. The guy who put in my spare tire told me I may be able to get it pounded back into place. So I visited Lex Brodie's today to see what they could do to me. One of the guys (sorry didn't get his name) took a look at the tire/rim, told me he could fix it, and started pounding it back into place. He then tested it to make sure no air was leaking and then another guy put my tire back on my car. All this was done within about 15 minutes. I was shocked and happy it was fixed so fast. Then when I was waiting in line to pay, the guy told me I could just drive off, as in they did everything FREE OF CHARGE! I was shocked, I was expecting to pay at least $50+ for the fix, even asked if he was sure and he said yes. I am so grateful for these guys, they didn't try to rip me off (it's very obvious I know absolutely nothing about cars) and were actually friendly and efficient! Next time I have an issue with my tires, I am definitely coming back here!!

Awesome! Mike Rizzo and crew were very helpful. I called in the morning to see if I could have my truck fixed while I was at work. Mike told me to come on down. After I talked to Mike, I felt that the work needed to get done. I got new tires, new brakes, and a new battery for a very good price. I am so happy and don't feel as if I got ripped off. I am going to bring all of my cars here in the future. I'm not sure what took me so long to bring my cars to Lex Brodie's. Mahalo Mike and crew!

First, let me set the stage: Day before Thanksgiving and I got out of work early. 4:50 pm. Kind of early, anyway. So I rushed down to Lex Brodie's near Ward (and by rushed I mean sat in traffic for half an hour). It is 5:30 pm and on a normal day, they close at 6pm. Close at 6pm, not start working on a last-minute car at 6pm. And did I mention it is Thanksgiving Eve? So when I get there, there isn't a single car in the lot (just a delivery-esque industrial truck which is clearly there for business and not repairs). I have the eerie sense that they're closed. Nevertheless, I pull up, park, and walk towards the entrance. A smilely local guy in a Lex-Brodie-Red polo approaches and I blurt out, "Something'swrongwithmytirecanyoufixit???" First, he checks with his manager(?) that they can take me this late [manager's response, "Might as well," whoohoo!]. After quickly ascertaining that I had no idea what was wrong with my tire except that it seemed to be leaking and/or collaspsing, he immediately quotes me the price--AND THE TAX--and asks if that's acceptable. Without an appt, $20+change to solve my car problems at the last minute before the big holiday? No problem, that seems like a steal to me! Plus, if you're like me and didn't know, they now offer free wi-fi in their pretty nice (but freezing) lounge area--and I needed to shoot off another email from work anyway which was, again, perfect. Passing by one of their displays (and truthfully several of their package services sound like fantastic deals if it was actually my car an not a borrowed vehicle I was using . . . ), I see a booklet about female-friendly autocare guide. Feminist that I am, I picked it up and perused--only to notice that the back page has a coupon for $20 your first visit. If you're saying to yourself, as I was, "Does $20 off of $20+change mean that I'm getting this tire fix for the '+change' part?" then the answer is yes. YES! Fantastic. While I got amazing service, fast-and-friendly answers, and still left before 6pm for under $5, I will definitely be heading back there (though hopefully not immediately). I may even look further into their Green and Roadside packages--those sound like convenient _and economical_ deals.

The warning light came on in my car letting me know that the air in one of my tires was low. This is probably going to make me sound like a weirdo, but I have never been able to figure out how much air to put in my tire. I even have one of those silver metal things that you shove into the little tire thingy and then the stick pops out (yes, can you tell depth of my knowledge about those tire things!) but have never been able to understand what it means or how to read that darn thing! So, I drove around for a while... with what could've possibly been a flat tire. Well, it was starting to look flat so I knew I had to put air in. I was going to attempt to put air in myself and so I pulled into the first gas station I saw on my way home from shopping... Shell on Queen/Ward. I get to the air/water station and it's like a vending machine! I needed coins to get air. Pay for air?!?!?!?! Seriously?! Well, annoying as it is, I would've just stuck a quarter or however much it was in there except I had no coins! UGH! So... I drove up the street to Lex Brodies. So glad I did. I pulled into the gas area and the attendant directed me to where the air station was. When I pulled up, a nice man who just happened to be walking out of the garage asked if he could help me - probably because I had a completely puzzled lost look on my face. He was so gracious and kind and checked all of my tires for me!! Told me no charge and I insisted on giving him a tip for taking the time to help me. Initially, he refused saying that at Lex Brodie, they are all about servicing the customer so that later on, when the customer needs more work, they come back. Awesome motto. Nevertheless, I was so grateful so I wouldn't leave until he took my tip... told him to buy himself lunch later. He was ever so gracious. And now my warning light is off and my tires have air!! Great service!

What a great experience! I always get the best, quick, courteous service. Mandy and Jim are awesome . Got 3 new tires , balance and alignment all in 35 minutes! I highly recommend them. Great customer service and air conditioned waiting room w/ wifi. I'll be back .

Lex Brodies tire company has been a blessing for me this morning. I drive a sporty Honda civic, that requires expensive Z size tires to fit the rims on my car. After going to Costco and being quoted $450 for 2 tires, I decided to heed the advice from a dear friend who regularly brings his car in to lex brodies. Note: I always get the feeling I'm being taken advantage of when bringing my car to auto shops for servicing due to my lack of knowledge with cars. So I was very apprehensive about bringing my car to lex brodies. I am currently sitting in their comfy lounge as they work on my car. I am super pleased with the service provided by the kind aunties that are at the gas pump. One of them gave me a $25 off card when I mentioned I was gonna get new tires. I have to also recognize the comfortable and welcoming service provided by Jayda who quoted me for my tires and even took the time out in showing me just the kind of tires I'll be purchasing. Her customer service is exceptional. Instead of taking advantage of my lack of knowledge and selling me expensive tires, Jayda treated me as if I were a friend. She was very informative and detailed in educating me about my car tires. Their lounge is comfortable and well a/c'd. They have self serve coffee and a bunch of snack vending machines outside the lounge for you to enjoy. I brought my car in around 7:30am and was out of there by 8:15am on a Saturday! Not even Costco could crank out work in that amount of time. After my tires were done, I was sure to give Jayda a big hug for her time and effort in helping me. All in all, my experience at Lex Brodies has changed my faith in car auto shops. People ike Jayda honestly do look out for your best interest and above all, treat you like a best friend rather than just another number. So if you're looking for quality service that is affordable for your car, I highly recommend you visiting Lex Brodies on Queen Street.

After AAA changed my flat tire we headed over to Lex Brodie .... Mike Rizzo greeted us and after he checked everything out he said he would be in contact regarding some of the issues they were going to check ... he called us within the half hour and I gave him the okay to do all the service we needed - he was nice enough to give us the applicable online coupon discounts, change my spare to a larger tire, and was patient enough to answer some questions I had regarding trading in my car and transmissions - he and Darshelle were AWESOME !! .... and my car was ready in less than two hours. Mahalo Lex Brodie for always taking care of us !!!

Yes, I got the old screw in the tire scenario while dropping off one kid to school. I made it over to Lex Brodie's with my four year old in route with me. The initial guy told me it would be a short wait while they fixed it. I played with my 4 year old in an air conditioned room with a TV while we waited a very short time. A smiling lady told me our car was ready and that it was free to fix since I had bought my tires there. What started out as a very cruddy situation ended up great with very helpful, smily people! Thanks!

awwweeesoomme.. No complaints about this place. Took my ride in for an oil change. Not because I'm lazy, but because I'm too busy, and don't have the parts to do it myself. Or maybe the busy is just an excuse for the laziness. Either way, service was great, dropped it off and got a call back a few hours later telling me it was ready for pick up. When i picked it up the cashier also notified me that my air filter could be cleaned, and explained how they did other free diagnostic tests which would be beneficial to me in the future to know of anything that i might need to have serviced or repaired. I think most other places would charge a fee for this type of thing. Great prices! THANKS for the service lex brodies! Hopefully i wont have to pay you a visit anytime soon, but your my new go to car service and repair shop!

Ick don't get your safety check here. I waited over an hour and a half for them to tell me to change two tires. I also had an appointment to change my tires and told them that, but no deals. Bleh. No tags. 2 hours of my time wasted. It's still $15 like other places that will do it in 15 min. or less! Granted, yes one of the tires (I was told at Firestone -- they are genuinely nice here) needed to be changed and the other they recommended be changed soon. I also waited in the waiting area for a bit and other customers looked like they were waiting for a long time and some looked disgruntled getting up every 15 min to check with a worker. I was told someone would get me when it was done, but when I saw my car out on the lot, I went to ask someone if it was done. They said YES. So I wonder how long I would have waited if I wasn't watching! I ate the bucks at LB's and went to Firestone (See my happier review there) to get two tires and a saftey. They were much friendlier there and more honest. Lex Brodie's: your 1+ hour "more comprehensive" (as I was told) safety check takes too long. I agree one tire was worn, but I would have rather been told in the first 5 min. like it would be at another station.
