My wife took her car in because it was lugging. They did a diagnostic and said it was the spark plugs. Changed all 6 spark plugs and charged her over $525. Due to the fact that she was from a neighbor island, (shipped her car to O`ahu while atttending summer school at UH Manoa) didn't know any mechanics and under some time constraints she went to a trustworthy name like Lex Brodie. RIPOFF!!! They said it'll take 3 hours to change the plugs. Maybe they should invest in a set of tools,,,like socket wrenches, wouldn't take that long. This is not a reflection on other Lex Brodies as they seem to operate independently. Live and learn...ouch!!! They will never see me or my vehicles again. Big Hawaiian ohana...I think I'll let my family and friends on O`ahu know they should go anywhere else but 701 Queen St. THANK YOU VERY &%$^ MUCH!!!!

Quick Story: Had a flat tire. Took it to Lex Brodie's on Queen Street. People were nice. The person who helped us noticed my safety check had expired; I'd been driving illegal for over a month! So they repaired the tire and gave me a safety check at the same time. Grateful for this. Big Deal: So I paid $15 for the safety check (pretty normal) and they didn't charge me for the tire repair! What? Wow! When was the last time you got service from a business for free? Why I'm Hooked: I don't know how to fix cars, so to me, mechanics are heroes. I was all stressed out and thinking about what I'd have to cancel or re-schedule because of that flat tire--but not only did Lex Brodie's fix the problem and save the day, they didn't ask for anything in return. You know how family takes care of you? That's how I feel.

If you don't have a costo card, this is the cheapest place on the island (if you have cash) to pump your gas. With the economy the way it is, this is a VERY important tid bit of information.

My tire needed to be patched and just 30 min later with $23, they fixed it and put it on my car! Wow! The guy was so nice he even organized my spare tire back in the trunk w all the pieces in the right place!

I came here and checked in for a slow leaking tire. So far as I write. two customers ahead of me have paid and left. For repairing a slow leak in one tire is taking over a hour, but they found a nail and patched the tiny hole in the tire. Looks like it feels rebalanced and aired up, because everything seems very smooth again. Oh, having wifi while that hour made it seem like a flash. **edit** Was thinking it over, the adhesive has to dry...hence the wait.

Excellent customer service and a job well done! I had a repair that I tried doing myself but was unsuccessful because I did not have all the tools to complete it. So, I decided to take my car in to a shop. A fellow mechanic recommended taking my car in to Lex Brodies. So I did. I called Lex Brodies and spoke with one of the technicians by the name of Leo. He took the time to listen to my issue and gave me the the go ahead to bring my car in to take a look at it. So, I brought my car in this past Saturday. That's when I met up with Mike Rizzo, manager over at Lex Brodies and he was very helpful and also told me that the job could be done by his mechanic. So I gave them the keys and let them do what they do best. There was no sense calling them every hour because I know this repair is a challenging one and it needed some time to have it done right. Mike called me on the eve on Saturday just informing me that they will have the car ready by Monday, which wasn't a big deal to me. So on Monday morning, Leo called me and told me the car is ready for pick up. Right on Leo! I mentioned to him that I needed two tires for my ride . An hour later Mike called with the prices and gave them the go ahead to install them on to my car. They did it that same day, mount, balance, and install. I was very impressed by the service, the job and the prices. I will bring my cars in to Lex Brodies to have them mainatained by an excellent crew. Mahalo

I am very good with taking my truck for maintenance at the dealership but I keep putting off repairing my shock. The dealership told me to fix a leaky shock elsewhere (since it's probably expensive there) so I finally chose Lex Brodie's after a year of procrastination. Heck I know it was going to be expensive and I was thinking shocks aren't a big deal. I was willing to put up with the bounce. Anyway I bit the bullet and finally brought my truck in. Called in on a Friday afternoon and brought it in the next morning. So stoked they even took my Akamai Buys deal thingy that I bought on top of whatever website discount they already gave me. Took them a full day. I have to say the customer service is pretty top notch and I think there is even a warranty on my alignment for like 6000 miles or something. Pretty good and no problems. Super convenient and they were totally helpful giving me quotes when I first asked. Lex Brodie's is pretty awesome and I will always remember their old school commercials with the dude hitting the hammer on the wheel made of rock.

Definitely the cheapest non-membership place to buy gas on the island. The only kicker is CASH ONLY gets the super discount. No worries! They even pump the gas for you! Great service and the ladies that I have met working there are very sweet.

Started working on my flat before I even finished my paperwork. Dont know about they customer service because I was in and out before I got any. Awesome. You don't have to be nice if you're fast. WILL go back for future repairs.
