I could not find your Customer Comment eForm as stated on the placard hanging from my rear view mirror. Had your Green Fleet Super Checkup and a Safety Inspection performed on my car (Invoice #1038243). This was the 2nd time I've used this particular service. I've done business with your company for many years and felt that I was being treated fairly and honestly. In comparison to my previous service experience, this one was more disappointing. I received a postcard in the mail, reminding me that my safety inspection expired this month and offered the Green Fleet Super Checkup for $179.99. When I received the invoice, I was charged $189.99 and questioned it with the salesperson. She wasn't clear and asked for assistance from a male salesperson who explained the $10.00 difference as 'sales tax'. There was a separate SALES TAX entry which I mentioned and was explained as separate for the safety inspection. The amounts didn't quite make sense and I was about to explain the math. Another male salesperson overheard and instructed the 1st male and female salespersons to reduce the charge by $10. Thought the initial explanation of sales tax as quick thinking without much thought since the total tax would have come to $19.84. The female salesperson cheerfully made the adjustment and commended me on catching the error. I noticed on the invoice an entry for a pedometer and asked if it was being given away. Female salesperson was unclear and asked another female behind the raised counter who pointed to a file cabinet and the female salesperson checked and came back, saying that there weren't any with no offer of a subsequent providing. While it wasn't mentioned on the reminder postcard I received, it was mentioned on your website promotion and it was listed on the invoice. Additionally, listed on the postcard was the promise of a tire gauge to measure wear. I didn't receive that on either of my two (2) visits/service purchases. During my previous visit/service purchase, I received substantially more paperwork which addressed specific reading for my tires and alignment, making be believe that the service was performed/provided. When I returned home after today's 'service', I noticed that my driver's side rear tire was in its same location, convincing me that my tires were not rotated. I also noticed that my rear compartment where my spare tire is located, under the floorboard and covering mat seemed undisturbed. Prior to dropping my car off for service, I noticed some sand on the mat and that sand was undisturbed when it should have moved toward the front hinging point IF it had been lifted to gain access to the spare tire. THESE observations make me wonder whether any of the services promised in this special were performed. Since my tires weren't rotated, were they balanced or aligned? Since my spare tire wasn't inspected, were the four mounted tires inspected? Is the Pad Thickness (6) a realistic indicator and what does it mean? Experience and conversation has led me to believe that the front pads wear faster than the rear...Is (6) the default indicator? I'm not even confident whether my oil and filter were changed, whether the promised, more expensive, Amsoil synthetic was used, and if the promised fuel additive was incorporated. I'd give an itemized accounting of how much I was supposedly to have saved by taking advantage of this special but the salesperson insisted that she retain the postcard I brought in for reference. I can't help but believe that I've paid a substantial amount and can't feel confident that I've received all that was promised and paid for. I look forward to continuing this conversation with your representative and hope that I can be convinced I wasn't taken advantage of OR that I will receive a refund for services that can't be verified as having been performed or received. Depending on your action regarding this situation, I stand in limbo regarding using your establishment's services in the future. R.I.P. Mr. Lex Brodie, I wondered how your name and reputation would be affected with the sale of your company and your recent passing.
