I received a mailer of your special G-OIL SYNTHETIC OIL CHANGE and would normally take my car to MIDAS to have this service done, which I have for the past 13 years. I called Sharlene to schedule on April4(?) and scheduled for April 24 at 9:00a. Arrived just before 9:00 and after speaking with two people was introduced to Jeff to handle my paper work- first visit. After ten minutes or so, I asked Jeff how long will this service take and he said, " about one and a half hour." I thought that was a very long wait to have this service done. A friend who uses a walker came with me, so we left and walked several blocks to the State Credit Union on Halekawila. When we walked back about 10:15a, I saw that my car was still parked at it's original location and had not even started this service yet. Naturally I was very disappointed and talked with Jeff of the delay. He said," they were very busy and there are only two places where this change of oil could be done." Finally, about 10:35a I saw my car being moved and was done at 10:59a. I only hoped that 14 minutes service all what I paid for was done- not sure if the 11 points on the check list were done and the last two points of FR BRK PADS showed PAD THICKNESS and REAR BRK PADS/SHOES showed PAD/SHOE THICKNESS- no explanation from Jeff or mechanic who did the work of what these two findings are. I told Jeff for my first visit I was very disappointed and probably will not come back and said I will continue to go to Midas. He told me since they have not started working on my car, I could take it and go to MIDAS. I thought that comment was uncalled for. After waiting almost two hours for a 19 minute service and Jeff did not even have the courtesy to call me after one hour and half and let me know of the delay till I walked back.
