I went to this location because I was lazy to drive to kaneohe. Let me say, I was really surprised. Only 1 car in the parking lot. chehoo. The service is really good. The salesmen were on it and helped me quickly ( they weren't helping anyone else). Very knowledgeable staff. My car only took little over an hour.yeah. I asked the guys if it's always this slow. Reply" most of the time". So if anyone needs work done, remember this shop. Thank you very much. p.s. I failed to mention that this was a Saturday morning.

If you're in search of a good tire shop, this is the place to go. Check out the boys to give a great deal and definitely a friendly atmosphere. Rolondo the mechanic is very knowledgeable and he's pretty quick about fixing things and even if your car takes couple of hours, Windward Mall is right around the corner.

They are awesome! I took my car in because the engine light was on and the AC wasn't working. After several hours they called me to let me know they thought my car was under warranty and to take it to a dealership for repair. So instead of charging me money they saved me money! I offered to pay them for the time they spent and they refused. I was blown away by there service.

Lex Brodie tookin in our Honda with radiator problems in the late morning with no reservation! It was a simple hose fix and they fixed it very quickly. After the service was complete, they met a price quote that we had recieved from FireStone! So we went in for what we thought was a bad radiator and came away with four new tires! Over-all it was a good experience.

This review is for the Kane'ohe Lex Brody Shop. I have not used the other stores on island. I gave 5 stars. I truly have been happy with their service, from brakes to Hawai'i State Veh. inspection. One time I was driving and a plastic shield to the lower part of my car came lose and was dragging on the road held on by the one last bolt. I stopped by and the manger sent a mechanic out side to the parking lot to remove it for free. Well I gave the mechanic a $10.00 tip. Although a minor repair perhaps a over kill tip, but then I could of drove home, it could of come lose, and it could of got pulled up into the engine, got twisted in the belts or some moving parts and cause big dollar damage. So I consider a $10.00 tip very fair. Lex Brody is always top of my list to attempt repair or service at.

With Motor Supply not supplying anymore, I needed to find myself a new place to get my car fixed. So off to Lex Brodie's I went. I needed 2 things looked at: brakes and fan belt. I asked the guy for a time estimate, and he told me a couple of hours. Okay, so I went home to wait. And waited, and waited and waited. 4 hours later I called them up to check in on my car. Oh it's done, they said, they just haven't processed the paperwork. That's when they started to finalize things so I could pick up my car. They guy who was checking up on my car told me that he saw no problems with my brakes or fan belt, so I described to him (again) what I thought was wrong with my brakes. He said he'd try again and call me back. 15 minutes later he said he still couldn't reproduce my problem, but if I'd like I could come in later and show the guys what I was talking about. But other than that my car was ready for pick up. I went in to pick up my car... and lo and behold... $0! Not even a labor charge! Awesome! I decided against driving with the guys. As long as my car is fine, that's great by me. $0!!!!

Like many people, I know someone that knows someone that can fix my car. So if my car needs fixing, I usually send my business to that person that knows someone that I know. You know, keep it in the family. The circle of trust. So when Kapiolani Blvd. and University Ave. caused my tires some problems, and I was afraid it would explode on the freeway one day while I'm doing my usual 65, I called my usual circle. Alas, no dice! They didn't do tires! Huh? Don't you work on everything? I was left to my own device to find a tire company that would check out what needed fixing, and fix it on the spot. After searching through the yellow pages (sorry, this was way before I was made aware of the genius that is Yelp) I came across Lex Brodie's. I remembered the commercial, so decided to try them out. And I was ready to pay hefty sums since LB is not in the circle. I made an appointment for early am and they told me they would need to remove all four tires to check for leaks. This took about 2 hours of me hanging around in their small waiting room, watching a small tv, drinking a small cup of coffee (I'll be sure to bring my own entertainment next time). When it was done, they told me there were no leaks in my tires and that everything was fine. I went to the register prepared to cringe at the tab, and that's when they told me the magic words. No charge. I was flabbergasted (until then, I didn't know I could be flabbergasted!). No charge? For two hours of work? For telling me my tires wouldn't explode on the freeway during rush hour, causing an accident and a back log so severe that all motorists would silently and not so silently curse me to my dying days? Where's the tip jar? What? You mean you don't expect a tip for doing your job? Holy cowcrap, batman! Am I in an alterna-universe? LB is the bomb! I still owe them the usual snack offering to make up for their kindness. And be assured that if and when my circle and I need any type of auto work related to tires, we'll be going to Lex Brodie's.
