I don't usually write reviews unless I feel it's necessary to get the word out so folks don't get the same experience. I have to agree with Nicklas A review regarding the UNETHICAL part of his Lexbrodie experience. Similar experience from my part. My Story, I have recently taken my car to VW dealership for a repair prior to passing the safety check. After the repair, the dealership recommended that I change my tires and a small bulb in the rear passenger sidelights to pass safety inspection. They quoted me 645 $ for 4 tires and 45 $ to change the bulb in the back. Since they didn't have the tires in store at the time and I didn't want to wait, I just paid for the repair. I told them that I will take it to either firestone or Goodyear to replace the tires and the bulb since any shop can do that. Since I wasn't able to take time off from work to go change the tires, I asked my mother in law if she doesn't mind taking it. I told her that I got a quote from firestone (567$ for 4 tires, 15$ to install each) and Goodyear ( 653$ for 4 tires and 12.5$ to install each). She told me that she takes her car to lexbrodies and they always do a good job. I checked their website for coupons/ tire sales and I agreed. I was expecting to pay 750 to 850$ for all tires and installation. Apparently, I was wrong. Not only lexbrodies sold her the most expensive tires they got (238$ each, 952$ total and 25$ to install each) but also they told her that she MUST replace the turn signal lights( stick looking ones under the mirror) on both sides for the vehicle to pass safety check. They charged her 365$ for changing those 2 lights that cost 40$ each. I had that small crack on my driver side turn signal light since 2012 and my car has been passing safety with no problem. I felt that was an unnecessary repair and they UNETHICALLY over charged her because she is an older lady. Long story short, she paid 1300$ for 4 tires and 2 small turn signal lights. When I went there to talk to the manager, he was very defensive and was telling me that it was her choice. We didn't even paid that much for changing the 4 tires on the truck. Long story short, don't take your car overthere unless you wanna be ripped off.
