ecomment#00063. I am a long time customer. In the past usually great service, repairs completed, called for pick up, free flat fix, discounts, etc. All good. Recently quality has been dropping--returned three times to get alternator fixed. Told: Battery light going on the dash. Told please check.. left overnight. Told also to check brake lights--"seems to be working". But wait --the turn signal doesn't seem to be working. Leave it again. Next day: New service rep didn't seem to be familiar with auto diagnostics. Based on my daughter's description of "battery light" going on I thought, "charging problem". I don't think they checked or would have quickly figured out the problem. Car returned, "nothing wrong", "battery fully charged," Great--no need repair. Car died on the way home --oops, towed in next day. Second trip down Told tow guy, he also said, right off the bat, "alternator" or "battery". Asked service rep what did they check: "oh we couldn't tell if the light doesn't go on". No.. you check with a volt meter, or run diagnostics on the charging system. "but we did" (REALLY?) Got it fixed, but geez, train the service advisors! (Third visit to pick up car).
