My car battery was only 2 years old. But since I only do short distance driving, the battery didn't last. Barney was the Lex Brodie's sales agent who assisted me. He said that since I bought the battery from Sears, I should take it back to get some credit for it. But since the Ala Moana Sears automotive closed, I would have to go to Aiea. In reading the Yelp reviews, it didn't look good. Most ratings were only 1 or 2 stars. Yikes! I rather patronize an establishment who works hard and who treats their customers right. Barney was very professional and personable. I can tell he really cares about his customers and not just making a buck.

My car was serviced for a tire rotation and wheel alignment under warranty. I also had a safety check done. I called ahead for an appointment. Upon arrival at the station, I waited only a couple of minutes for a service rep to have my car processed. My car was serviced in about 2.5 hours, just a slightly longer wait than the 2 hour estimate. Great customer lounge-comfortable, a/c, free coffee and water, tv. They even let me borrow a pen (so I could work while I waited)! Service Reps were polite, efficient and professional. I would definitely choose Lex Brodie's again.

I didn't have an appointment and Lex Brodie's took care of me. What amazing service and an amazing staff! This was my first visit to Lex Brodie's and now I am their customer for life!!!

Service Date: June 9, 2015 Type of Service: Secure Heat Shield Guard With all the road construction going on throughout Oahu, especially with those annoying metal plates...screws, bolts, clamps etc. from your car, are bound to get loosen or just "pop-out" altogther... My Heat Sheild Guard (protects the underside of your vehicle from your exhaust system heat) became loose from one of those metal plates off of the Paiea Street Exit, by the Airport. It was making this load flapping noise with the metal guard hitting the exhuast pipe. For the old timers, think of the baseball card pinned to the bicyle spoke sound, but only this was with metal... Not knowing the severity of the problem, I made an online appointement on the LexBrodie's website. I brought the car in as schedueled, at 8:00 am. The behind the counter service was friendly and helpful. She explained that a mechanic would take a look at my vehicle and she would call me back with an estimate. At 8:48 am, I receive a phone call, that my vehicle, was ready for pick-up. Thinking the problem was worse than expected, I go to pick-up my vehicle... The behind the counter person informs me that "Your Heat Sheild Guard was secured and no longer making noise". That was music to my ears, but the best was yet to come...There was NO CHARGE for the work performed...WOW. I would have been perfectly OK with paying for time & materials used...Lex Brodie's just earned a customer for life...
