It took 3 hours to do a safety check I had an appointment for, and they said that I needed 1 new tire, alignment, and by mack lightcovers replaced. What shop just sells ONE TIRE AT A TIME? Red flag, red flag. They tried to sell me real hard and I almost did it because I was IN THEIR WAITING ROOM with my 6 month old for 3 hours.... luckily I had also booked a safety at Sears auto for later that day in case I missed the one at Lex Brodies. Took the car to Sears, walked around the mall, they called in 20 min saying the car passed and I could drive away. I really REALLY think they look for problems that are not there at this Lex Brodies when they do safety checks. Do yourself a favor and go else ware. Plenty of honest shops on the island. Don't waste time at this one.

The employees are so on it! I stood across the street for a half hour & watched how customers are approached & greeted immediately! The workers are orchestrated, where one left off , another stepped right in to keep the show rolling. Absolutely no mind games. I paid exactly what was quoted & no pushy sales tactics! The only downside was the loooong wait. Was quoted 1.5 hours but took over 2.5 hours for an oil change. Still, I'm impressed & will tell all my friends to check you out!

This is my second time at Lex Brodie's. My first time I had a pretty good experience. Yes, it was still on the pricey side because I needed new tires before they could approve my safety check but at least the mechanic was helpful to go through everything with me. This time however, I not only had a bad experience, but now I have an added costly expense that I have to take care of. All to redeem a free mini inspection and oil change. My bad experience started off when it took awhile for the service lady to process me. I understand it's busy there but it seemed that everyone had an attitude like "I'll get to you when I get to you". I didn't have an issue redeeming my free mini inspection and oil change and that was good. My car got done in a fair amount of time. I picked my car up after work. Same situation with the service lady as when I dropped off my vehicle. Only this time, she seemed confused that I still had a balance for my service. We got it all sorted out and she had me sign the receipt. (Now normally at one of their competitors, the one who serviced my car or the service lady would let me know exactly what was done to my car and give me any recommendations. This did not happen today. Just sign and go.) So I left and went back to work with my car. My service light was off and everything seemed to be running smoothly. Or so I thought. After work, I tried to start up my car and nothing. No click, no lights, NOTHING. Turns out that my car battery on the positive side had corroded and the acid burned through my cable. Lucky for me, the company mechanic was able to install a new terminal lug for me. Unlucky for me, I now have to go buy a new battery and possibly replace the cable. Also unlucky for me, on my "receipt", it was recommended that my battery be cleaned due to corrosion. I was in a rush to get back to work so I didn't see this until the damage was done. Thanks a lot guys. I know I technically didn't pay for anything out of pocket for my services today but I shouldn't be punished for using a coupon!

Excellent customer service. Although I arrived 30 mins before posted location opening the Service Manager [ sorry, missed his name ] checked the work that needed to be done ( tire replacement ), checked inventory, and signed me in. Work was done and I was back on the road.

Excellent Service at a very reasonable rate! Had an issue with my engine losing fluid. Took my truck to Lex Brodie's and saw Freddie. Freddie got me in, they identified the issue (cracked thermostat housing), took care of the repairs , and I got my truck back the same day! Cost was very reasonable. I've been taking my vehicles to LEX's for over a decade now and wouldn't go anywhere else. Freddie's the best - see him if you have an issue. The folks are great and they always stand by their work. I wouldn't go anywhere else or trust my family's vehicles to any other place!

Scheduled State inspection this a.m.; seen immediately at appointment time; done quickly - no huhu! Checked a funny tire noise no charge. Very pleased...I'll be back! Mahalo!
