I was riding along Kamehameha Highway and got kissed by the construction roads with a flat tire near Pearl City. AAA escorted me back to Lex and Brodie's on Queen & Emily. They immediately took me right in, and within 40 minutes I had a new tire and was back on the road again. Wonderful service from Kevin and staff. Thank you; I will come again for my regular car maintenance.

On Friday September 4, 2015 I made another appointment this time with Tiana over the phone regarding my driver's side door handle that can't open from the inside, for Tuesday September 8, 2015 at 1pm. On the day of the appointment I arrived at 12:45pm checked my car in and waited for 1 hour and 30 minutes, after realizing that the wait was longer than usual and no communication from the employees I decided to take it upon myself to ask how much longer they might take, to just once again look at my car and provide me an estimate. The girl at the front desk went to inquire about my car when she returned and informed me that the mechanics had yet to even start on my vehicle. That is when she offered a rental vehicle to me with a $100 deposit down for they did not believe that they could get to my vehicle today at all, why did this happen not only once but twice with an appointment no less? They have poor communication skills with their customers for this is also the 2nd time they let me wait in the waiting area for well over an hour without telling me a damn thing! Once again with appointments made and kept on my end, Lex Brody's like to stress that they have such an illustrious legendary customer service reputation which I had not experienced at ALL during my two separate occasions there. If I could give negative stars I would, so if you like to wait around in cold waiting areas not knowing if your car is being worked on or not as well as being ignored then Lex Brody's is your one stop shop!

Brought car in to have someone check on flat tire and why air needed to be added every week. Worker couldn't find a leak and put tire back on and added air. Few weeks later on 9/5/15 return back to Lex Brodies to have someone check tire again because something still wasn't right. Worker said it was really busy and he will try his best. He found a little small nail in tire so they patched tire and all good! What a lifesaver he was. Now we can safely be on the road.

Came back to the island with a 10 year old car. Staff did a safety check. Friendly, helpful. After being at DMV to register car, we had huge rainfall and suddenly my wipers stopped working. Lex Brodie, now not so friendly, gave me a quote 350 then phoned back $725!!!!!!! to fix it. I picked up the car, researched another mechanic. Had the wipers repaired, $50.29!!!!!!!!! Went back to Lex Brodie to get safety sticker, friendly. I guess they were seeing how much they could get out of me as a newbie, but unfortunately for them, not stupid car owner. Won't go back.

The staff at the Kalihi location was very friendly and nice. I especially liked that as soon as I pulled in a staff member was waiting for me by my car and greeted me. He took care of me right away. They were also very accommodating, as I had an appointment on Tuesday, September 8, but since I had free time on Monday, September 7, they made arrangements to take me on Monday. The service was done by the time promised, and everything went very smoothly.
