Was able to accommodate me even though I called last minute at the end of the day. They plugged my tire that had a screw in it while I waited in their waiting room. No more clicking sounds when I drive!! Thanks!!!

Good Job

I made an appointment to get my safety done at the Lex Brodies in Kaneohe. When I got there they told that the safety check will take an hour and a half to complete. That sounded a little absurd to me because all of the other safety checks I've ever gotten done have taken no more than 20 minutes. After an hour and twenty minutes they called me and told me that my car failed the safety check because one of my lug nuts didn't match the others. I thought this sounded a little ridiculous but whatever. I went to get into my car to go buy a new lug nut at Napa and I noticed that they had left the lug nut that didn't match off my car. I went and asked the guy at the desk why my car is missing a lug nut and he said that because it didn't match they couldn't put it back on my car. I asked him if he was being serious and he assured me he was. I told him that the lug nut fit the threads and was holding just fine before and now you want me to drive my car without a lug nut? He said, "Yeah you're probably fine without it." Are you kidding me??? What kind of tire place will send a customer away with missing lugs?! Stay away from Lex Brodies. They are unsafe and very unprofessional. They do not think that lug nuts are important. Oh and to top it all off, when I walked out back to drive my car away I found that they had left my car in the parking lot with the headlights on.

WHERE R ALL THESE 5 STAR REVIEWS COMING FROM? Many years ago in town, I got a flat. Lex Brodie guys fixed it for free-they had a REP as honest and caring and REAL mechanics. I took my truck into the Kaneohe shop for a safety. They removed all the tires and said I needed a new CV boot on the L front and more work on the suspension. Estimated cost? 1200.00+ I was so shocked I left, getting a clean safety inspection at another place. I knew the left front needed work, so took it into: Kaneohe Auto Care--WHO I KNEW WERE HONEST AND RELIABLE. *Ricky promptly said NO CV boots needed replacing as its not a 4WD! (Strike one for Brodie's) *He said the 'clanging' sound left front was tie rod and bearings (think that's it?)--strike 2. *He ordered the entire front end parts because the whole thing was nearly the SAME price as the one tire. He also replaced my shocks worn out on Kam pothole city. STRIKE THREEEEEEE My total bill for the entire front end fixed, and new shocks was WAY less than my quote for JUST ONE TIRE that didn't even HAVE a CV boot. I'm not mechanical so was clueless-don't go here! They scam! Lex Brodie would be ashamed. * the reply listed below was never given to me and they verbally told me what I needed. It was over 1200, not 500-odd. I wrote it down to look it up when I went home. *looking at the other BAD reviews versus all the 5 star ones I think management needs to see who is working during these months and try and see if they have some bad seeds in with the good there. They always ask for the invoice to bad reviews. I never got one yet they had one with a completely different estimate on it? HUH? Something is fishy here...Just a suggestion.

I needed an oil change to be done soon because the message on my dashboard read 10%. Because I didn't have a scheduled appoint, I came prepared and was willing to wait to get my car serviced. I arrived at the Queen Street location in town. There was a young lady willing to service me. Doing her best to squeeze me in with an already booked schedule, she was able to schedule me an online appointment at another nearby location just under an hour from now. I thanked the sales associate for what she did. Superb service. I drove to the other location checked in and the guys at Kalihi location were attentive and prompt.

Our car broke down due to overheating so we had it towed over here. They replaced the radiator hose (a $90 part) and filled the coolant tank up half way with antifreeze and charged us $300 for the whole thing. They justified this by saying that they had to purchase two entire jugs of coolant (charged $60 for this) and charging us for about an hour of labor. After getting back into the car, a part on the inside of the door which had been loosely attached before taking it in, was gone, and the salesperson denied that it was ever there when being taken in. Poor service and unreasonably priced. Would not take car here again.
