I called on a Friday afternoon regarding 4 new tires. Was helped by 'Barney'. Was quoted a price on 4 tires that he had in stock. Arrived at Lex Brodies at 7am the next day. I was told by the person helping me that he didn't have those tires in stock. Ended up paying about $100 more than I was quoted for another set of tires. Feels like a bait and switch. It was my fault that I forgot 'Barney's' name that morning, but when I asked the person helping me that the person who helped me on the phone started with a 'B', without much thought, he said he can't think of anyone. When I asked if he could see who was working on Friday, he just responded that he wasn't working on Friday so he doesn't know. When I asked if maybe the person pulled the tires from inventory and put them on hold, he didn't leave his computer, just looked around from his computer and said that he didn't see any tires on hold. He could care less about what I was quoted on the phone by Barney. Beyond that, the tires were installed promptly so no complaints there. Just the bait and switch feeling, and lack of service by the guy helping me. I came to Lex Brodies to support the local company. But they are no different than the mainland guys.
