Originally estimate was 2 hours wait but took twice the estimated wait time because they misplaced the keys to my car. Poor accountability.

After waiting all day at Lex Brodie's to have a small part of the driver's side window replaced, (in order to pass vehicle inspection), my car was hastily returned to me with black grease on the inside of the door, the inside door panel loose and flapping, the interior door fabric, (which was already a little loose), now largely gaping/hanging from the inside of the door, and the internal door- gear that controls the locking device on the door, was now missing - resulting in the lock button disappearing so you couldn't tell if the door was locked or not locked. Also the price quoted went from approximately $999.00 to $800.00 then to $777.00 over the hours, before the work was started. I took out a loan and paid for everything before my car was returned to me. I asked to have the newly missing lock part replaced before I left but was told that the mechanic was due to go home for the day and that I should return to Lex Brodie's early the next day and wait again for however long it took, to fix the new problem. The door was quickly wiped of oil and the door panel shoved back in so that it didn't flap before I left.

Kevin and the crew were very friendly and extremely helpful in figuring out what was wrong with my car. I think the services here are very fairly priced compared to other places and I was really happy with the repairs. My car is no longer leaking and it handles a lot better than before I brought it into the shop. I also like how they are conveniently located near my office. I highly recommend Lex Brodies in Honolulu. Great service and friendly staff.
