Great service

If I could have given a 0 star I would have. I was made to wait 2.5 hours just to tell me that they would not fix my tire. Saying the nail was too close to the edge. The nail was one inch from the side of the tire and on the flat tread. Next words out of my saleswomans mouth was about buying a new tire to replace the tire with the nail. News flash, I just bought that tire from Lex Brodie last month. I have been in the car business for near 30 years and have patched tires and plugged them as well. Patching tires is a far superior method of repair. Guess what Lex Brodie doesnt do that repair, and refused to plug my tire. I was livid when I was told that my vehicle would not be released without changing the nailed tire to the spare, Really? I Took the vehicle home removed the tire and repaired myself, took 10 minutes. Perfect repair no leaks!! To refuse to fix my tire and then insist on a new replacement on a one month old tire was blatently shady business. How many unsuspecting Kupuna are your sales staff ripping off. I bought 8 tires in the last month. I will need 8 more for my two other vans in the next couple of months. I will have to think long and hard if I will be coming back.

About 20 years ago I drove into the Queen St. location to have someone to look at my tires. Fortunately, a guy named Barney Griggs serviced my truck and replaced my tires that was on its last leg or in your own vernacular, last tire. Due to his outstanding service and helpful nature I'm still a loyal customer at Lex Brodie's after all these years even though Barney has moved from the Queen St. location to Waipahu, to Pearl City, and now back to the Queen St. location, before he finally retires. In most companies where employees routinely come and go, Barney has always been there to solve my brake, tire or belt/hose problems with outstanding customer service. On one occasion, when he knew I had transmission problems he helped me find someone that could do the work. He, to me, deserves the highest honor your company can bestow on an employee. IMHO.

I always have been taken care there . The pleasant and professional staff make the experience wonderful . I will bring all my cars back again and again. Thank you!

I left a review here a few days ago that I need to revise but can no longer find it. I encountered a situation where I felt I was treated unfairly by a member of Lex Brodie's Waipahu staff. I didn't go to the manager to let him try to deal with it first before writing the review. In any case without going into too much detail, it was not a good review. I want to make an apology for writing the review in haste because had I gone to the manager Lilo, I believe he would have probably resolved the issue like he did after I posted it. Would have saved us all a lot of grief. Lilo took responsibility for the issue I had and I am pleased to say that he reaffirmed my satisfaction and trust in Lex Brodie's Tire Company. He took my vehicle in to diagnose a brake problem I had, identified the problem that another auto repair shop couldn't (the other shop failed to identify a major problem after they repaired it) and completed the repair in a timely matter to my fullest satisfaction. On the day I picked up my vehicle, Lilo was off but his staff was a big help in making me understand everything about the problem and the repair. Big Mahalo's to a great staff!!! Now that my brakes work like new, I can feel safe for my entire family riding in my vehicle. Thank you very Much Lex Brodie's Tire Company.!

Sales person Lei was so friendly. I expected a long wait for my safety check, but it was done in less than half the time expected. The waiting area is large and comfortable.

To put this all into prospective, I just deleted a review that was quite unfair to Lex Brodie's Tire Company. I deleted it because once the manager Lillo got wind of the problem I had, he took full control and responsibility for it. I originally got my brakes done at another auto repair shop. I had a brake lockup problem and shimmering when trying to decelerate. However that other repair shop never fixed the problem even after I paid for a work done. Won't go into the problems here because I will do the review on them separately. Just wanted to say that Lex Brodie's diagnosed and did the repairs to my brakes and they are like new. The problems have all disappeared and I feel safe driving in my vehicle again. Wanna give Lilo the Manager of Lex Brodie's Waipahu a big "Job Well Done" as well as his staff that helped me reaffirm my confidence in this company. Will surely return again for any problems I have with my car. It's my turn: "Thank you very Much" Lex Brodie's Tire Company.

I have been and will continue to bring my car to Lex Brodie for all of my car service needs. I trust the people there, I know I'm not getting overcharged, unlike other places, and that's by I like bringing my car there. My only issue is that when I bring my car in for something minor like an oil change, I always confirm how long it will take. And it's always later than the quoted time. I understand that with big jobs, but with an oil change , I count on the time I'm told, and it's affected my job when it keeps taking longer than what I'm initially told. I hope this issue can be addressed . Thank You.

Created a Lex Brodie account online, which was very easy. Once my account was active, which took seconds, I booked an appointment online for 8:30am. For booking an appointment online, I received a $10 off certificate, which I didn't expect, very nice. I checked in at 8:25am for my 8:30am appointment with an awesome girl. I cannot remember her name, so I checked my receipt, and where it said "Salesperson" it read "STM" so I'm figuring this was her initials, and you can figure who it was I am hoping. She was amazing and answered all my questions. She explained the wait, other options and services. And also since I needed new wipers, she explained where they would come from, how long it more it could possibly be, and assured me the wipers were very good, and believe me, they are the best wipers I've had on my truck since I bought it. Accufit is the brand I believe, and in which it was very reasonably priced as well. "STM" was just friendly and very welcoming, all around greatness this girl was. She reminded me of another great girl there, LeiAloha, who was there as well, but wasn't the one helping me at the time. When 8:30am came, my truck went right in! I was truly amazed, as when I used to take my truck to Toyota Servco, AND in which I made an appointment, my truck would never go in at my scheduled appointment time. My truck would usually go in an hour or more after, unacceptable. This is why I choose not to utilize Toyota Servco for any of my car services anymore, and instead, choose Lex Brodies Aiea, for not only for the great care they provide my truck, but also for the great girls that work the front desk.
