Great service

I would provide a higher rating except after my vehicle was serviced I noticed that my front license plate was missing. I spoke to the mechanic who worked on the vehicle and said that he did take the license plate off, but thought he put the license plate back on. Well, regardless, now I do not have a front license plate.

Brought my vehicle in to diagnose a brake locking and vibrating problem. Told them I had the brakes looked at and worked on elsewhere and had new pads and rotors installed on the front, new drum installed on the right back wheel along with adjustment. The other shop did not fix the problem of the brake lock up nor the vibration and admitted that they did not know what problem was. So I decided to bring into Lex Brodies where in the past I've had great service and great work. Never had problems before and I thought maybe they were the experts at brakes. Well, I was very disappointed when the mechanic called and said they wouldn't work on the brakes because of liability. I asked them if I paid them for a total new brake job where they changed out the parts that were already changed would they do it, they said no because of the liability issue. Well, I can't understand where they would fear a liability issue if they did the entire brake job themselves. Not asking them to leave any of the work or parts that someone else did. I asked them for a 100% new brake job. I won't go into my opinions why I think they don't want to do the work but this puts a very sour taste in my mouth of a company I have done lots of business with in the past and get treated like I have to live with poor work by someone else. I want a NEW brake job not a half and half brake job. Very disappointed.
