This review is long overdue. I've been doing business with Lex Brodie's since 1995 and specifically with Barney Griggs who's been my Service Manager the entire time at various locations; Waipahu, Aiea, and Queen Street. Those considering doing business with Lex Brodies, and specifically Barney can know from the outset that he is honest and has a genuine concern for the customer, their safety and their wallet. He explains pros and cons on repairs in an easy-to-understand fashion enabling the customer to make an informed decision. On several occasions, over the years, I've stopped by to discuss a vehicle noise or suspected safety issue and received accurate advice; never being charged. Never had a charge for a tire repair... For lengthy, time-consuming repairs, Lex Brodie's has even provided a rental vehicle free of charge. To revive an old Texaco advertisement from years ago: "You can trust your car to the man who wears the 'Star' "... make that a 'Caveman'! (if you're familiar w/Lex's logo). Superb customer support and service!

*I would only come here if it's an emergency.. And if no one else can help. Probably only good reviews because of the telephone service and short notice (hence why I say only come for emergencies) LONG STORY SHORT..ish Before coming here, my alignment was perfect. I went here to just change my tires because one tire was flat and it was just time. When I went, a guy was pressuring me to get an alignment as well for $90+ and trying to say he would take 10 dollars off, blah blah blah. He just wouldn't stop. Like.. LOOK DUDE, I said I don't need one, and that I only want tires. Don't be like an annoying sales man. Why get one if I don't even need it? He kept trying to convince me but I kindly declined and he finally said okay. WELL. I got my new tires, cool. I drive and it's basically a struggle! The alignment was noticeably off. I seriously felt like people thought I was drunk because it kept on going side to side with the weird direction my car wanted to go. It felt like it looked like I was a drunk, swerving side to side and trying to manage driving properly. Never dealt with that before. So I talk about it to my friend saying I think that guy did something to it so I would go back and get an alignment. Then she tells me she had the same exact issue happen to her at this Lex Brodie's. After being harassed about getting additional services that she did not need, she stuck with changing just one tire as she had gotten her alignment done just three weeks prior to seeing Lex Brodie's. And after seeing them, her alignment was just super bad. She's going to Fire Stone instead. -_____- I'm definitely not coming here unless only for emergencies. *THE RESPONSE BACK FROM LEX BRODIES WORKER* I definitely don't have time to deal with this and already made an appointment with a different company. I appreciate the apology. HOWEVER, he says that there is no way to see if an alignment is off unless with proper equipment... OKAY, so tell me why the worker I was talking to (after declining the alignment offer) told me "I'll tell you what, I can go inspect your car real quick just by looking at it and tell you if you need an alignment." And leaves to go check my car for 10 seconds? You actually really don't even need to answer that though. I already moved on. Thanks, though lol. Also, I never had anything against Lex Brodie's so I definitely didn't come inside looking for anything but a good experience. Good-bye!

Chelsea remembered my BF and I even after our first visit. She's shown the best customer service in any business we've experienced in auto services. It was easy to book an appointment either online (which gave a discount) or over the phone for the same or next day. It's conveniently located nearby stores and restaurants, so we were able to walk around while we waited. Our appt for a vehicle inspection with no issues was 330pm appt picked up at 430pm estimated wait time of 1.5 hr (2-3 others ahead). My first visit (also seen with Chelsea) was about 1.5-2 hr wait because they did my safety and replaced my tires with alignment. I would definitely come back for my future car needs.

I'm not sure if they even deserve 1 star. I set an appointment at this place to have tires replaced. I was there 10 minutes early because it my first time at this place (lexbrodies). No one has said hi to me or even ask if I need help. I have to find my way in this messy place. So after 20 minutes I finally talk to someone about my appointment only to find out that she needs to get someone else to help me. So she Page someone to help me, over and over again. So sadly to say after another 20 minutes no one has come to me so I figure that lexbrodies doesn't want my business at all. So I left since no one wants to help me as a first time customer... this place is a joke!!! Here's one tip to everyone that works there today (04/25/16) SMILE!!! it doesn't hurt.... over all rating: NO STAR!!!

Quick service, friendly staff

Took car in because maintenance light was flashing so it needed an oil change. Oil change went fine, a little pricey, but they didn't reset my maintenance light so it continues to flash even though they specifically said they would reset it.
