Everything was well done, mahalo. However, given that I did have a specific appointment time scheduled, it seemed like an hour and 45 minutes was a little bit long to wait for an oil change and safety check to be finished.

I made an appointment for an oil change a few days in advance, for Monday at 10:30. When I drop the car off, I'm told that it will be ready for pick up two hours later. Pretty long for an oil change, but ok. When I come back two hours later, they hadn't even started on my car yet. Normally this would be a huge issue, but my schedule could allow the delay that day and the staff was really friendly and apologetic. When I finally did get my car, I was told that my battery was at a dangerous level and could die any day now. So, I scheduled an appointment for a battery change for Saturday. 15 minutes after I drop my car off on Saturday, I receive a phone call saying that there's nothing wrong with my battery, starter, or anything else and I can come pick my car up. I explained what I was told on Monday, and was given no explanation for the contradictory reports, but the guy insisted my battery is in perfect condition. Three days after picking my car up because I'm told my battery is perfectly fine, MY CAR WON'T START. Needless to say, I won't be going back.

This review is long overdue. I've been doing business with Lex Brodie's since 1995 and specifically with Barney Griggs who's been my Service Manager the entire time at various locations; Waipahu, Aiea, and Queen Street. Those considering doing business with Lex Brodies, and specifically Barney can know from the outset that he is honest and has a genuine concern for the customer, their safety and their wallet. He explains pros and cons on repairs in an easy-to-understand fashion enabling the customer to make an informed decision. On several occasions, over the years, I've stopped by to discuss a vehicle noise or suspected safety issue and received accurate advice; never being charged. Never had a charge for a tire repair... For lengthy, time-consuming repairs, Lex Brodie's has even provided a rental vehicle free of charge. To revive an old Texaco advertisement from years ago: "You can trust your car to the man who wears the 'Star' "... make that a 'Caveman'! (if you're familiar w/Lex's logo). Superb customer support and service!

Great service. Made an appointment - took my car in as soon as I got there. Sat in waiting room for a short time while they put 4 new tires on my car. Had a cup of coffee and they were done. Everyone was polite and courteous - price was right - no extra waiting - who could ask for more!!

I have had the same experience on multiple visits. I am promised a certain length of time that it will take for whatever to be done with my vehicles, but I wait for more than 15 minutes after the promised time to find out that there's something wrong or the work is complete. I often have to start asking around to see what is going on.

Online appointment was very convenient. Service was completed within quoted time. Proximity to mall is a plus for killing time. Will definitely return again in the future.
