My Prius battery died. It had recently been to the dealer for a 40K checkup. Apparently, they don't check batteries. Had they thought that a good thing in a major servicing, I would not have spent 90 minutes in a hot parking lot waiting for road service. So I call the dealer for a new battery and got many apologies and a "maybe we can fit you in today or maybe tomorrow, it's a full schedule." Dissatisfied and not the first time they've blown me off - in fact it's how I found Lex Brodie's, when a light on the dash the dealer said, um, 3 weeks for appointment. Turns out the light was low tire pressure and it went flat before then. I called Lex Brodie's and heard, "Eleven o'clock?" Barely a lunch hour and a new tire. Now, needing a battery sometime before "maybe today" I talked to Barney at Lex Brodie's in town, who got the required information to get the correct battery - it had to be delivered. An hour for installation. Lex Brodie's reputation for top notch customer service is well-deserved. I will only return to the dealer if it's something only they can do. i love my Prius but Servco service falls flat.

Rate a 4. Over all service was good. Customer service provided by Steve was helpful in determining the tires to purchase. He was able to bring the tires to the Kalihi store in less than a day. We were able to get the tires mounted the same day the tires came in. It was obvious that the store was busy with customers but we were able to get the tires put on the car.

Haven't been here for a long time as I usually do the repairs on my car myself. I've also gone elsewhere for alignment. This time, decided to try Lex Brodie's again. Glad I did. Service at the front counter was prompt and courteous. The alignment was done on time and I believe it was Lei who described thoroughly what adjustments were made and exactly how the wheels were out of alignment. I also decided to get a brake job done. Post repairs, the brakes feel much better and the brake fluid is now clear! And to make things even better Lex Brodie's provided a rental which included pick up and drop off. Wow-that's service at its best!

My experience is that a situation from one of the other Lex Brodie's could have turned into a legal issue. Working with me to help make this a win/win situation was Maili Otis, and the mechanic Vince. They took the time to go over exactly what the problems were, then because of the situation got the manager Mr. Kelly involved. Service from all three of these LEX BRODIE representatives was literally a Godsend. All of my friends from Hawaii Kai to Waianae will be getting recommendations from me to GO ONLY TO THIS Lex Brodie, and be sure to ask for Maili and Vince ( the mechanic)!!! God bless

I got five star service today, they were understaffed with one mechanic on a Sunday and made room to help me with my air-conditioning. Almost all other shops were closed! They diagnosed the compressor as faulty. My friend and I put the compressor in we brought it to Lex Brodie and they fixed the AC and made sure it was really cold. Mike McNeil was my mechanic he was excellent, very helpful, friendly and did a great job. Vachelle and Leticia help me with making the payment and I actually left my backpack there and they put it aside for me and held it until I came back. Really appreciated that, great employees great service. While I was there I saw them offer rental cars to three other parties getting services performed. I was really impressed and I will definitely be back! Mahalo Nui Loa!
