Invoice said my tires were supposed to be rotated but they weren't

Very disappointed in the service we received. Previously, we have had very favorable experiences, but will not be returning to the business. The a/c in our car stopped blowing cold air, so we scheduled an appointment for a recharge. The appt was for 8am, I was told the car would be done by noon. When I dropped it off at 7:45, the receptionist informed me that it would be late afternoon before it would be ready as they were backed up. Hold up, I had an appointment, it was only 8am, how could you already be backed up?! I couldn't leave it all day so rescheduled for Saturday. Much better drop off, timeline was still as expected, 2-3 hours. However, an hour later we received a call informing us that the mechanic claimed the radiator fan was not working and that was causing the issue. The car has never over-heated, so that seemed unlikely. We asked to speak to the mechanic, who then said that actually the a/c condenser fan wasn't working and would need to be replaced at a cost of $400. We declined and went to collect the car. After a 10 minute drive home, low and behold, both fans are working, but still no cold air because the mechanic would not replace the coolant, which was what we really needed. When we called to report that both fans were working, the mechanic replied that he had hit the condenser with a wench to get it started, but it still is broken. So glad we didn't fork over the $400.

Dear Lex Brodie's, I am so grateful for the excellent, rapid, and kind service I received from Jordan and Kyle at the Kaneohe Shop. My Toyota 4-Runner had front end noises. They were both willing to spend the time to find out what I was hearing, my concerns, & look at the car. After his evaluation Jordan gave me the straight scoop about what needed immediate attention, was very sensitive to my budget concerns, and arranged for repair first thing the next day. It was already late afternoon. The car was ready at 8:45 am the next day! Kyle checked it out, explained the findings, and made recommendations for future work. Your head mechanic and other staff were all friendly. Excellent service! Excellent people! I will be back and I will be recommending you to my friends. Thanks again!

Update to the comment on my review from Lex Brodie's: yes, my car came in as a no start No, no one from your establishment ever called me or gave me information when I called No, you did not offer nor did you actually pay for the rental car I had to get once my car had to be towed to the dealer. You did call the company for me and have them pick me up- thank you for doing one thing right, that was nice of you guys. No, your guys did not start my car several times then turn it over to me when it magically did not start. They started it several times till it wouldn't start anymore then thought about how they likely could have activated the security feature in the car so it could not be started even if the car was okay. No, I did not pay for any service because no service was done. You never even ran diagnostics, which can definitely be done since you could start the car. All in all, your comments on my review are a pathetic way to save face and are simply not really true. I have seen other reviews that said you did a terrible job but at least admitted fault and fixed it, so I had some hope. If my rental car had been paid for or if I had a genuine sorry without a but....I would likely respect your business, even if I didn't want to go back. In summary, you had my car for about 9 hours, never called, never diagnosed and I came in to it not starting. I wasted a day having to be off work where I could have had it fixed or at least diagnosed at any other shop much quicker. My review stands and I still absolutely cannot recommend this shop.

Recently purchased 4 tires from Lex Brodie's. Happy with my 5-Star service from Vachelle Heyward from scheduling my appointment through being on site when I showed up for my scheduled visit, through the completion of the job. Mahalo team Lex Brodie's!

They are busy, so I like to schedule first thing in the morning and get it out of the way. Not bad, it took 1-1/2 hours for a wheel alignment. No cons for service just no coffee was made this morning.

The safety check was done quickly.

They are very helpful. I went in thinking it was a front end issue but they found I had a rear tire problem. They were able to correct my issue and my car is riding fine.
