I have been going to Lex Brodie off and on for many years and have had mixed experiences each time. It seems that there is a high turnover rate of workers here indicating a management issue. A good example was when they failed to put oil in my wife's suv during a routine oil change. The only response was a refund and no explanation. I was hopeful that this was an isolated incident, however I was wrong. I came in for an oil change and was told I needed a new radiator. I told the staff member how can I need a new radiator when I just brought it there and never leaked nor leave traces on my driveway. The response I got was " well you do now". This is highly frustrating since there wasn't an issue beforehand. I was also told I needed new brakes and suspension work which made me even more skeptical. I had it towed to my regular mechanic and while I now needed a new radiator, the brakes and suspension were fine as I thought. It seems that Lex Brodie was trying to upcharge me for services not needed, and I witnessed the same practice as I was waiting in the lobby for service. When speaking about my experience with different people, they also had similar unpleasant experiences. It was this experience that is the end, and I would not patronize this establishment again. With social media and competition so prevalent, it would be inconceivable to have such poor service. I had good experiences here in the past, however this recent experience showcases the lack of consistency. As a business owner myself, while I do not like to bad mouth other business owners, the public needs to follow the "buyer beware" rule for this establishment which is very unfortunate.
