Brought vehicle in at appointment time for a Safety Check. That took one hour which is way too long. Elsewhere one can be in and out in 15 minutes tops. Next time I will go somewhere else. Lesson learned.

Please email your invoice number to scottwilliams@lexbrodies.com Please note, on our online appointment tool, we highlight customers should budget for a minimum of an hour for our safety check service (with an appointment). And we note our stores are “not Quick Lube shops”. Our core services are tires, alignments, brakes and suspension. We added oil changes and safety inspections after our customers requested, and we are happy to perform them for our customers! Safety checks, when done properly, take 15 to 20 minutes for the work process. (The State’s Safety Inspectors Office can fine and even shut down stations who do not properly perform inspections, thus care needs to be taken as they are performed) There are fewer safety inspection shops now that the process is done digitally and needs pictures of the process taken on state provided I-pads. Plus many shops find the $25 fee not worth it… Since we accept appointments as well as walk ins, we perform much more safety inspections then most shops. Thus our bays are almost always full and team members buying assisting our customers as they arrive. Thus we let our customers know to plan on the 1 hour wait as we work the safety inspections in and process them out as soon as possible. We truly apologize for the disappointing experience. Please also share if you made your appointment online as well what our team member shared was the time it would take to perform the safety inspection.
