After the quality service my wife received at this location for a simple flat repair, I decided to give Lex Brodie's a try at performing the scheduled maintenance for my car. I made my appointment online, which was very quick and easy and I even got an immediate email confirmation with a $10 off coupon for using the online scheduler. I showed up early for my appointment and confirmed the work to be done. I had my printed coupon with me, which stated to present at time of service so I did. When asked for a callback number, the employee wrote my number down on the back of the coupon and I was told the service would take approximately 2 hours. From experience with other merchants, that seemed like a long time to do an oil change and tire balance and rotation, but I had errands to take care of at Pearlridge Mall so it wasn't a big deal. My guess is despite having a set appointment time, their crew may have been running behind schedule. Two hours had passed and my wife called to tell me that Lex Brodie's called and left a message that the car was ready. Why did they call her when I specifically gave them my mobile number and the employee wrote it down? Again, not a big deal because the job was done in the time specified and I got the message in the long run. Upon arrival at Lex Brodie's, I informed them of the mistake with the callback number. Apparently, they called my wife's number because it was on file from the previous flat repair. I paid for the service with my credit card and after doing so was then shown the bill for services, which did not include an adjustment for the $10 coupon. I also pointed out that the street name for my address on the invoice was wrong. The employee was very apologetic and quick to make the necessary corrections. As for the service performed, I checked the oil level the next morning and it was right on the High mark and I could tell the tires had indeed been rotated so no complaints there. I deducted a star due to the mistakes made in the office: wrong callback number, wrong street name on invoice, and discount coupon not applied. Small details, but nowadays it doesn't take much for a customer to go elsewhere. Despite the clerical oversights, I will definitely return. I like the convenience of the online scheduler; the employees were quick to acknowledge me when I walked in the door; they were very courteous and professional even when the checkout process didn't go perfectly smooth; and only the work I requested was performed without any bogus sales pitches to sell me an additional service I didn't need.
