Unfortunately my car stood unserviced for some three hours waiting for a scheduled oil change and the service which comes along with that. After I came back from two hours at Windward Mall, because I hadn't received any call, Marcella told me that they had unexpected delays and asked me to wait another 45 minutes, which I did. This is way out of the norm for my experience at LBs, a business I put my total faith in. I suspect that because it was December 27, 2017, that the holiday performance and low manning slowed things down. But then when my car was ready I was told to wait longer because a car getting a tire change was blocking my car from being backed off the ramp. Who's car was that anyway? Marcella was very courteous and gave me a 20% discount, which was a good business move on his part. I am left to wonder whether or not somebody's car was slipped in in some kind of emergency or as a favor to someone or something like that. I don't know for sure, but because I had a scheduled maintenance time, and no one told me there would be a three hour wait, I am left to wonder what might have happened. My faith in LBs remains unshaken. The only reliable auto service outfit in town so far as I am concerned. Dr. Jim Corcoran Hawaii Pacific University
