Honolulu, HI
I've been a customer at the Honolulu location for over 10 years. I've been happy with the service up until this weekend. We woke up to a nearly flat tire on the day I took off of work for some pre-birthday fun. Instead of spending it doing birthday type things, I found myself at Lex Brodies. Luckily, we were able to get an appointment. However, it was crazy busy in there and we ended up staying for quite a while. Thank goodness they have a decent waiting room. All of that is well and good. The problem is that, they sent us away saying there was nothing wrong with the nearly flat tire. Good, right? No. Woke up the next day (my birthday) to find that same tire nearly flat again! Auwe! Went back to LB to have the service writer guy apologize and tell us to come back at 8:30 the next morning. So, that day was spent trying to not drive around too far and constant checking on the tire and refilling it with air. So, ok. We go back at 8:30 like the guy said only to have some guy tell us that he's not supposed to start until 8:30 and that's just to set things up. He explained that the guy that told us to come in at 8:30 doesn't even work today and that he can tell us whatever he wants, 'cause he's not there today. ...ok. So, apparently the workers can say anything while they represent the company, but it doesn't have to be true as long as they aren't going to be around when the customer returns with a problem. Whatever. Btw, the tire that they claimed was not leaking and did not have a problem? The Sunday crew found the apparently non-problematic nail in the tire that was "okay" the day before...even though it was nearly flat. Hopefully this doesn't start a new birthday weekend tradition for us. Thanks, LB.
