Took a flat tire in for a patch. Got it back no problem. Three weeks later a vehicle sideswipes me and scratched the rim. Shop takes my rim and tire to swap the tire over. They refuse the service saying the patch is too close to the sidewall. I then reminded them that they did the patch and didn’t tell me about it or make a note but took my money for the patch job. Super shady.
Aloha Mr. Perry, thank you very much for your feedback. Please email your invoice number and some additional details to [email protected] Also, please share a little more info, you shared you brought the tire in to get fixed (on the first visit) and then you mention”… we did a patch and didn’t tell you about it or make a note, but took your money…” Did we patch it on the first visit, then out team felt it was too close to service the tire on the second visit? If so, we’ll reimburse you for the flat repair. Please note, there is a judgement call where the puncture is to close to the shoulder, or it’s not too close. But, if our team felt it was too close on the second visit, we’ll reimburse you for the first visits flat repair charge. Please note, we use a patch plug repair unit where we can verify the repair was ours, or not.
