Been a customer of the Kaneohe shop for over 20 years. Today I went to pick up my car after a safety check. One cashier with a baseball cap was helping a customer and he had 100 questions for her which left me waiting for 10 minutes as the only lone customer in line completely ignored, not even given a simple acknowledgment of “Thanks for waiting, I’ll be right with u.” Workers walked back and forth and ignored me. I walked up closer to make sure she could see me. Nothing, not even a glance just completely snubbed me. The guy was carrying on like there was No end. I’ve never had a problem here till today. I was late for an appt and didn’t think I’d have a problem. Basic customer service 101, acknowledge the next customer and let them know u see them and will be right with them. And ask another cashier to help if it’s going to take a while with the current customer.

We completely agree with your feedback! Sadly, our check in and cash out line can get rather long, when that happens it’s pretty tough and awkward to acknowledge everyone in line as the join the line, so the team tends to go all in with the person they are with or with answering the phones. (An example is if they excused themselves while helping you to answer a call that turned out to take several minutes, that would be very frustrating!). Unfortunately, phone calls can go unanswered since our team is taking care of the folks in front of them. Thus they sometimes forget to acknowledge customers when they can, like they should have for you!!! For the check in process, we are working to develop a pre-check-in process to speed up checking customers in which helps speed up checking for outs as well… We’ll cover your feedback with our team to share with them the importance of acknowledging customers when they arrive! (We have our manager looking into now) How was the check in process when you dropped off the vehicle? Added reply: was this visit “today” (as the review states as it was posted 2/22/25) or 2/20/25 for a 2020 Honda CRV? Our manager remembers apologizing on that day for similar feedback, please confirm! Name and last initial and service match as well as the feedback all match. (Sadly on that day we had a cashier on lunch was the time of the check out which added to the check out delay.)
