Appointment at 10:30, 2 hours later car still not being worked on. Waste of everyone's time and very frustrating. Why have appointments???

I needed to have 2 of my tires replaced but I didn't have an appointment. I called around noon and they were willing to add me to their schedule that day. When I got there, it was obvious that they were totally busy so I was grateful that they let me come in. I was greeted and helped by, "Keiko", who was really respectful and cordial and even went out to my car to confirm which two tires needed replacing. When I picked up my car after they were done, Keiko was also the one to cash me out. I have wheel locks on my car and when I inquired about the lock key, she said that it is customary that the mechanics leave it in the cup holder. Notwithstanding, she offered to walk with me to my car to ensure that the key was indeed left there (instead of saying, "if it's not there just come back and let me know"). The fact that she offered to see for her own self was impressive customer service. It started to rain outside so I just told her that I would come back into the shop if it wasn't there. Also, they actually finished my car an hour ahead of schedule, which was awesome, considering that I did not have an appointment. Their waiting room is huge and they even have two massage chairs! IKR!! Definitely using their services again!

the staff was friendly and pleasant right up until i disputed the amount due. when i made my appointment i notified the person on the phone that i was past the 6 month tire rotation and alignment date that i had paid for. i was told it was not a problem and to come in. when the car was finished i was told i owe. $ 180 +. i disputed this and was told in no uncertain terms to pay or i won't get my car back. i have been using Lex Brodies since the 80's and will never go back.
