Lex Brodies HAS to do better with customer service. Came in on Sunday, 5/26 first thing in the morning to get tire change and schedule a safety check. Didn’t have the tires in stock so was told to come back. Tires would be delivered at 9:00 am. Made appointment at 9:30 am. Come in at 9:20 am on 5/27 and drop off my keys, insurance card, and registration. Was told it’ll take around 2.5 hours. I leave the shop instead of waiting inside. Less than 10 minutes later, get a call telling me the tire shop was closed so they can’t do either the tire change and safety check. Get back in and was told to come back for a third day. Said I can’t reschedule. Guy hands me my keys and I leave. At this point I’m fuming. I drive back home when I get a call 10 minutes later that they forgot to return my insurance card and registration. I get it, I should have remembered myself, but by this point I’m frustrated beyond belief. When I get back, I ask if any of the other Lex Brodie locations have the tire in stock. Was told no. I was offered a discount to make up for the trouble, but just walked out. A phone call would have been nice this morning before I drove to the shop to let me know that the tire shop was closed. I’m just baffled that they didn’t know that the tire shop wouldn’t be open on the holiday. It’s like a restaurant not knowing that their food purveyors are closed. I want to support local small business like Lex Brodies, but you got to do better.
